Board Meeting Dates
Hello, 2011 and 2012 VSRC Board members,
Our next VSRC board meeting is scheduled January 20, 2012 in Charlottesville. Both 2011 and 2012 board members are expected to attend, as this meeting will include approval of October 2011 meeting minutes, annual reports from 2011 board members, and the induction of new 2012 board members. If you are unable to attend, please notify me as soon as possible.

8:30am-9:45am Orientation for new and any interested board members
10:00am-12:30pm General Board Meeting
After 12:30pm: space is reserved for the VSRC for the remainder of the day and can be used for
VSRC committee meetings or discussions.

City Space is a new meeting location for the VSRC. See attachment for addresses for City Space, Market Street parking garage, and details for parking ticket validation for attending the meeting. There is space for up to 100 attendees, so please invite other colleagues to join us. Beverages will be provided (coffee, tea, sodas, juices, and water). Breakfast and/or lunch are on your own.
Mileage may be reimbursed to any board member. If you travel > 150 miles one way for the January board meeting, the VSRC will pay for one night's lodging for January 19. To control VSRC expenses, please plan on staying at a reasonably priced hotel or sharing a room with another board member so the total expense per board member (including the approx. 10% hotel tax) does not exceed $150/ board member. You must:
1. make your own hotel reservations with your personal credit card, as the VSRC will not cover the expense if you are not able to attend.
2. complete a request for reimbursement (attached) with a receipt for expenses and submit to Jim Shuke, Treasurer. You may give to Jim directly at the board meeting or mail to him after the meeting: Jim Shuke, VSRC Treasurer, 203 Bridgeport Drive, Bridgewater, VA 22812-9209.
