Mary Washington Hospital has an immediate opening for a Respiratory Manager to join our management team. The Manager will provide clinical and operational oversight to the shift staff, promoting and continually improving the quality of services. The Respiratory Manager, working with other members of the leadership team, helps insure clinical excellence, staff development, protocol application, and the advancement of respiratory care.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an approved AMA Respiratory Therapist Program; possess the RRT and Virginia license; have at least 5 years' clinical experience, with at least 2 years supervisory experience; and exemplary interpersonal, communication and clinical skills. A Bachelor degree or greater in a health or business related field is required.

RT EDUCATION COORDINATOR

To qualify for this position you must be a graduate of an Advanced Practice Practitioner program or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must have 3 years' experience in Respiratory Care, one year of which must be in a supervisory or teaching role. Candidate will be expected to possess effective communication, time-management, and computer skills. Strong clinical background in a wide variety of Respiratory Care procedures, to include all aspects of mechanical ventilation and mixed-gas therapies is required. Managing multiple priorities to complete projects on time is an important aspect of job performance in this role. Registered Respiratory Therapist credential issued by the NBRC and VA licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is required. We prefer one year of experience in a similar role involving staff education, formal presentations to students and other healthcare professionals.
