Delegate Algie Howell of the 90th District in Tidewater
was the patron of 2 of the 7 house bills for smoke free air in Va this
year. Catherine McGann, RRT, RPFT does his PFT while Elizabeth Stevens,
CRT, CPFT greets another of the 60 who came to the Legislative Day
health fair for PFTs, blood pressure checks and information on
contacting members of the respiratory care professional community
through the VSRC.

recruiting RTs to become temporary employees of the federal government in case of a manmade or natural disaster. ___________________ At the last meeting the BOD approved the motion to strive to reach 1,000 active AARC members in Virginia by the December AARC meeting. That means we have to recruit at least 60 - 80 new members in the next 30 - 40 days so they can be counted in the end of Nov totals.
