All The Virginia Society for Respiratory Care is currently accepting nominations for the following Board of Directors positions, President-elect, Vice President, District Directors for each region, and Delegate!
Nominees must be a licensed practitioner within the state and in good standing as an active member of the AARC/VSRC. Candidates must be willing to serve the entire term of office and be willing to attend all necessary events and meetings pertaining to their office, including four board meetings (one per quarter) a year. Other desired qualifications specific to the offices are as follows:
District Directors – Blue Ridge, Central, Northern, Tidewater, Western. They serve for two years, with the second year being the District Director and the elected year as co-District Director. They plan educational meetings and get-togethers for their districts. These meetings and get-togethers can be used for continuing education hours.
The future of Respiratory Care is primed for exciting challenges and opportunities. If you or someone you know has shown interest in getting involved, NOW IS THE TIME!!!
